Welcome to the PH Austria Website
The PH Austria – Lung Hypertension Initiative is a non-profit organization that supports everyone who suffers from pulmonary hypertension in gaining access to information, treatments and support services. In addition, the association represents those affected and advocates earlier diagnosis, better care, a higher quality of life and medical care. With the associated lung children research association, research into therapy options for pulmonary hypertension is promoted or made possible.
What We Are Doing?
One of our main goals is to spread the information about PH to facilitate early diagnosis. It also helps for the wider community to better understand the difficulties PH patients are living with in their everyday life.
We participate in a great number of projects, partnerships, working groups and various task forces with the aim of ensuring better quality of life for the patients, best treatment and ultimately a cure for PH.
Service for Patients with PH
The stronger the patient organizations are, the more they can help the patients on local level. PH Austria has various initiatives to help their members become mature.
Collaborative Educational Programs
In partnership with our valued sponsors we provide educational materials, useful resources and various tools. These programs provides up-to-date information, and serve as a tool during local negotiations and campaigns.
